I remember this problem, the wires in the sensors need to be reversed to make them less sensitive.

Its lucky its just the bonnet, not cheap. The b******s that did this need tying up and have their skin peeled off.

I made mine worse by bending it away from the bodywork and towards the exhaust. Try pushing it away from exhaust. Its held on with a few screws, i think torx bits are needed.

I was using T-cut to remove the scratches, it was working too. There may be better stuff available though.

I have seen a laptop sell on ebay recently for 450, that was without CAN. I think if you know the right people the system can be built for around 1500.

windscreen replacement no problem with them. At times they can be slow with the paper work. I am wondering do they have to write your mods on your insurance certificate, as if I claim its my word against theirs.
