i reckon probably cheapest and best to buy replacement part from renault. They always seem to flake on a MK1 172

Youll ne looky to get anything off renault. I found that the alacantra pile rolled into small balls, but not cracking off leather, only creases which youd expect.

Yep, very poor Arnold Clark in Wigan, only after making money and no interest in good service. NEVER use the body shop. v. poor. I use to travel to Dutton James in ST Helens. Much better.

my 02reg 172 was on 52k and falling to bits, but was faster than ever.

Clio:- maybe a Dci100 will not be that far off you 1.6 but bit cheaper to insure. Cheap to run as well. Fabia Vrs cheap to isnsure and run as well. Dunno wot it is with Diesels today, have never owned one, but the running costs and insurance always impress me.
