Yeh your spot on, although, my Ipaq sat nat picks up enough signal through the side windows to mount it anywhere. When I had a road angel was more difficult to pick up a signal.
Cheers mate. Much appreciated. Hoping to not had the wire hanging down as shown in that one. Thinking of takin through glove compartment and mounting it using the vent holder and no the sucker now. Will have to wait and see when the holder comes of ebay.
Has anyone any pics of the palm top with sat nav mount in their clio?? Just wondering where people have mounted them i.e. vent or windscreen and how the cables have been concealed. I have got the kit and software on my Ipaq and will be mounting it next week.
I got a letter of aknowledgment today. I am passing the word around people i know not go with elephant even if there the cheapest quote. Theyre cowboys and its a joke what there doing. hope the letter helps with your second report Rob!!!
Had my 172 from 20-22 no accidents in it, but i did insure it in my own name. Paid £1800 for first year. Still paying £1100 now with 4NCB so can understand the temptation.
There are loads of people I know who have been insured as named driver on their motor. Wouldnt doit personally.
No...
Ive told privilege and ive even got the alloys as being listed as different as they wanted details. All says factory fit and was no extra cost and privilege is the same company as DL.
I would try and get a refund for sure for your months lost cover!!
The belt socket (correct term??) is attached to the subframe of the existing seats so am not aware of how you can have aftermarket seats and not have harnesses
I would pick the GSD3 in terms of pure grip. However, expect the PE2 to last nearly double the life span.
Would be PE2, but if money no object pick the GSD3.
If you want a your 182/172 to look like it is one, buy it in a renaultsport only colour!!!!
Ive no problem people making the clios look like a RS model as likleyhood is it wont be in my colour, ;)
Seriously though if someone thought they were up against a RS and it was a 1.2 16v theyd...
Dreadful colour really dont like it!!!!
<< really glad I chose black silver or blue like the rest of the 182s out there ;)
It is personal preference. Had mine called a bake bean quite a few too, and few people hate it as well, not really bothered have had the black and silver clios...
They mix the paint to match, then fix the damaged area and spray the colour and laquer over it. I really couldnt believe how good it was, and I am really picky over stuff like paint with my car. took him about an hr and half for £30.
U had an bruising meeting with a kerb :( ??
Ive used the manchester branch and they were excellent, much cheaper than a full wheel refurb. paid £30 on my LCR and you really coudnt tell. Great result and really professional service, they come to you, so no trips to the garage and no wait with no car which you would have for full refurb.
Not too bad, mate is buying one, it only has 49k on clock, was just wondering, it will probably need doing for age rather than mileage then.
Cheers for the info.
