I done this with a Silvertec bulb! Can't believe it didn't smash tbh.
I just found someone with really long arms :rasp: got there in the end lol...
Good luck!
I was just wonder does "Cambelt, pulley and tensioner change" mean the same as what everyone gets, i.e. cambelt and aux belt iirc?
Its just it seems like a very good price, being that that would be £504.85 for the above plus a service!?
God bless VAT reduction lol, a massive saving of...
Was searching for new pics for a new site coming and came across this...
What was your favourite? I like the tank  did Renault used to make 'em? That would be a cool logo to make now and get on front on my Clio!
Think I remember the 1972-92 one from my mum's old R5 :clown: (not a...
Identical 0-60 times on the GSi and 172 so would be a good race :approve:
Hopefully I'll be able to put my 182 against my mates SRi Turbo at some point (and shame him )
Yeah my mate's got one of those SRi turbos! Not bad though I think hes chavved it up a bit :dapprove:
Always liked the GSi's myself... was tempted to get the 2.2 SRi at one point, interior let it down for me. But if I was going to downgrade I would certainly consider one, not the worst...
Right, ran Clip and surprise surprise it's now saying the downstream lambda has a problem! Although the car's still running fine... because the downstream doesn't actually affect the car's running?
Am I basically right in saying that I could ignore this? And did I read there's a common way to...
Sounds like the same problem I'm having with my lambda sensors tbh. Rough as hell for first couple of minutes then suddenly jumps back into power. Swapped 'em round and yesterday and today was running sweet as anything! Perfect from set off... however, EML came back on earlier tonight, am yet to...
Yeah the upstream lamdba has been changed... the car is now running sweet, passes Clip and no EML. But the car is still failing on emissions... what could it be if it's not the CAT? Could the downstream lambda affect this?
Woo, lucky then!
Okay I ran Clip and no computer's have faults :) super happy, hope it lasts!
However ran an MOT test and still fails on emissions! waaay over on C0, would you say that I have f**ked my CAT?
Wicked! Thanks for the thread link... so it would seem that the downstream sensor isn't really needed, interesting :clown:
Do you think my car will get past emissions tests as well now then?
