hum looking at the consumer forums value around -20/30% -for ex salvage vehicles, however if they can prove a large amount of repair took place then they can lower it to 40% or more-- which is why CAT C is really not worth buying as opposed to cat D- so on a 5k car thats still 1.5k- S

For the couple of questions around Value- I was Quoted 50% book on Cat D & next to Zero % book on Cat C- If your going to buy a salvage car check with your insurance company what the payout is- Whatever the case its worth checking with your insurance company S

Sell it Private--bout 2.5-3k He will get 0% cash payout on a claim IIRC- as the cars already had the value out on it- S

4.5 ish- for a cupped one- high 3's for a non cup one S

^^^ THis- If I was going to buy a modded car I would still consider a good quality standard one, however it doesnt work really backwards & modifications rarely return the initial investment- Standard FTW- even down to the stereo S
