Real cups look the best out the box. And for the comment about the cup being the most pointless car on the road.... WTF?! Something like a geewizz maybe..... Anyway, i've had both. The 182 just never hit the spot for me, not as gutsy, felt a bit numb? Steve from birchdown even says most 182's...
Depends what you want? The cars are in different classes to start with. Some people love high revving N/A engines (like me) that need stirring to get the best out of (like a hot hatch should be ;-)) meggy more usable day to day with havin better low down grunt. Both brilliant out of the box...

They are good out the box. You wont see any real gain with a remap and exhaust, just like 172/182's..... ie a waste of money imo
Never had it RR'd but coming form a 172 Cup and 182, it pulls well, had a coming together with a 172 Cup in my 197 and pulled a few lengths...
Another thing i hate, is when seen flat side on how far back the front wheel sits now the front end sticks out another ten foot.... not flattering at all?

People on here keep telling me i need some for the 197, but i'd rather be safe knowing that if i'm proper committed round a bend, nothing other than the Renault stuff will fall off ;) If there was an advantage of giving...

I'm not normally one to hate every new model released, then slowly warm to it. From the 197 concept pics, i've loved it. I cant help think they looked over a zee Peugeots and copied their front gappy bumpers..... which are also gash...
Spot on. Any car can be a nightmare. Say you had 5k max for a Clio, then it f**ked up, your shafted.... What i would do with that 5k budget, is buy a car for say 3.5-4k, then put the rest aside for any abnormalities. You never know.
