The 'facelift' is utter garbage imo
^
I mean ffs its a proper butcher job....
Much rather have a new Fiesta if i wanted a non sporty super mini
It just 'works'. They must be selling s**t loads as i see them everywhere. The pic above is the van ffs!!!
Never been a fan of them plates, 3/4 or nothing for me. Same with the caf, when looking at fitting one on my old Cup, there's no point imo. The tubing needs deforming that much its pointless imo
Cars looking good as always mind :)
I've had both too (cup and 182 cup packed)
I would say the 182 felt less twitchy, propbably due to the 205 section tyres and more weight....
Not s massive difference, remember that also 172 Cup dampers will be older/more worn than a 182 being a few years older, and probably having more miles...
Repeat after me,
I will NOT take my wheels back there to get them refurbished again. We know the colour is bad, but the finish looks very orange peely (sp) too!! Bad times :(
Still, car looks mint other than the rims :)
AG tar. Squirt on from bum strips down, come back in 5 mins and they will have melted away. Any remaining spots attack waith SRP, which you should do anyway as the AG strips any wax according to the blurb.
I got steve to take them off, left the car on stands last Easter. Primered, Hamerite smooth Red. Make sure you use rattle cans, as i've seen some applied with a brush, shocking springs to mind ;). Decals from uber9 off ebay, 90mm.
