I bought some brick/descailing acid on Dan's recommendation and it's serious stuff. Cleaned up ten year old brake dust no dramas for me. I wouldn't want to be using it every week though- it f**king burnt when I got it on my skin. Lol.

No matter what you've spent, they're overkill on a Clio. Too many people on this forum throw money at buying the best spec parts before learning how to peddle properly. A well driven standard car would run rings around a modded track car.

Looks like you're looking to spend this money however possible. What you have is perfectly adequate. Next on the list is some decent rubber, and then just spend the rest on trackdays.

So managed to source some bits to partially tidy up the drivers seat which was showing some signs of wear. Seat started looking like this: Removed these tatty old bits; So it now looks like: Just need to source a lower bolster to replace the goosed one and it'll look a million times...

Depends where it's leaking from. The selector area is most common and if so, it's saveable iirc. Just make sure it doesn't run low- then you'll chance needing a new box

Those pics are flattering too. There literally was about a metre's worth of loom bunched up and cable tied to the engine block in a few places. I believe this is how the loom was/is supplied from Omex, but Jesus. If paying ~£3k like the invoice we had stated, I'd want that tidied up! Also...

Can you not try and put a smaller punch/screwdriver through the hole first to see if that centralises it? Could be slightly out, and that would be enough to stop a threaded bolt going through...
