Car on stands. No need to remove wheels.
Remove 18mm lower shock bolts. Let beam drop. Springs will fall out too probably.
Up top, remove nut holding shock in. Let shock fall out.
For fitting, reverse procedure.
We're not bankrolling you funny accented f**kers either, btw. (; Bring your own beers as burgers. We'll have the BBQ roasting.
I might give up a beer or two of mine to those special members however.
Impossible to tell for sure from that.
There are GTi-6 engines going around NA with that kind of power.
As Phil says, anything is possible, just depends on how deep your pockets are!
It's easy to swap.
Unclips down under the car by the drivers seat. UNclip there. Tie string to lower end. Pull pipe out of top leaving string in loop. Tie same bit of string to new pipe. Pull back through. bit fiddly getting it back in the clips, but simple enough.

I know, I know- it needs the centre caps fitting. I've only got three and none beats three at the minute. Am waiting on the fourth being delivered.
So today I put the car in for an MOT, just to see what I'd need to sort for it to be properly legal. An odd concept for me.
Almost unbelievably, it passed. I'm baffled! Typical BMW!
