Well, I know Riplash said his sounded different with a performance filter.

I got the Demon Kit.. which had the different (nicer!) side skirts. The Terminator 2 ones are smoother.. the Demon are the Terminator 1 skirts - fluted with mesh. Think its £575 now from FFWD.. then about £30 delivery if i remember.

They were about the only ones who would touch me on a Williams, 20, No NCD etc.. Liverpool Victoria wouldnt quote, HIC woudlnt quote etc..

Yea, but if you have the bottom of the arch cut out.. a new bit put and properly sealed.. it wont come back.. ever. It only rusts cus the sealent is bad.. it depends who sealed it at Renault on the day.. and how good they were, heh.

Wont make any difference - if you get a good job, only the bottom bit needs replacing.. as thats the only bit which rusts. Itll save a lot of money - and I cant see you gaining anything unless there is rust higher up!

Well, the way Im doing it is the way most people do. If I remember, the whole 16v/Williams quarter panel is like £300 - £400 from Renault? Each side!

Well, Im having my rear arches done.. They get a normal Clio Arch (£20 I think each..) and then cut mine out and blend that new one in.. easiest way - also means the rust wont come back if its done properly.

My ABS light came on when battery was really low and alternator was duff.

MOT is anything up to £40.75.. for just the test. Thats why I take it somewhere, stay with it.. then drive it away to fix myself.. (aka, get Mat to help me.. hehe).. then you know whats going on! 95quid INCLUDING a new CAT is a good price, tho.. Id say.

Elephant were the cheapest (and about the only "group") who would insure me on the Williams. It isnt cheap.. but its cheap relative to the car/my age etc..

Yes, they mod friendly. Are they expensive? When I did a quote on a few mods on a Williams, it was like £100 for each mod.. because its a high risk car.. the mods are more expensive by the same percentage (they told me).

You have to tell them. But, if you have points and you need to claim, you can bet they will find out and you wont be insured.
