lol what does she know ;) Women. Tell her to use a little more right foot and a little less judgement. It's like vtecs, and ztecs, you need to get the revs high to get the power. AS said it's due to cam profile and engine mapping. If it really bothers her, get her to chip in 1k for some new cams...
Nice mate. Chris will be on to you about how you managed that. He's trying for 900kg and he's had to remove loads of excess metal. Is that figure "on the road"
hmm, thought they were the same.
To be honest mate, if you have decatted you're going to get an error light regardless if the lambda is working or not. The lambda in the manifold is the main one, if broken the car runs crap. The secondary one is more for emission purposes on the clio. it...
 wow, stolen!! gutted, hope it all sorted itself ok. At least now you can say you've owned an alfa and hence (according to topgear) are now a true petrol head.
Nice to see you've decided to revert back to a proper RS ;)
I'm looking to run a breather hose down to the floor instead of the usual setup (going to run it towards the coolant reseviour and down to the lower engine cover. v6 box is going on with a 45 deg bend. Will the heat from the exhaust cause issues here? Any other ideas are welcome.
This is what...
Cams will change the profile of acceleration yes. If you want more power lower down it's either a case of cams and remap to suit, or TB or turbo/supercharger. Obviously the more you spend the better the gains.
7200? really? mine usually cuts out around 7k. Sometime if the car hasn't been driven hard for a while the engine needs loosening. Engine temp also as said.
can't really remember what the bay is like on the 1.2, but it's usually just a case of remove the old air box and attach the new cone to the hose which was attached to the airbox. it's a 5 minute job really.
you'll not really notice any gains on any clio by changing the filter. All you're going to get is noise difference really. Cone filters will give a grunty noise, whereas panel filters will be no change at all really.
