I dont understand how you lot have never been asked.
Every time Ive taken out insurance they send a self addressed envelope with the policy in which I have to send my renewal from my previous insurer to show proof of NCB. Maybe they are only really bothered if you have full and want to...

No, but stll expect to get pulled
Fred got stopped leaving his drive before the Scotland trip last year. His car looked like this...
Anyone with a blue 172/182 live in Whitnash and like cleaning their Clio?
One of the lads I work with reckons they must be a member of CS due to the amount of time and effort they put into cleaning it.
I dont subscribe to Evo, but do buy it each month.
Ive got the April 2001 issue under my desk when they had the first Magnex fitted to there long term 172.
I had a 172 from Motorpoint. When I traded it in I got £1k less for it than if it had been a UK car.
It had no alarm, security etching or locking wheel nuts. Motorpoint had an alarm fitted for me.
As for warranty, see this letter: http://www.leemather.plus.com/stuff/rw.jpgLink
They refused my mate too. 30 years old with a standard Impreza Turbo 2000 on a T plate which hes had from new. God knows why they took me with 6 points!! I do have Full NCB though. My car is standard, garaged and covered for 16k miles a year.
Im with them at the moment. They are the sister company to esure and are a Halifax and Bank of Scotland company.
I wont go with small insurance companies.
esure wont touch me, but FA quoted me better than anyone else I tried. £100 less than last year and I have 3 more points.
A guy...
Ive been extremely impressed with them on both road and track. They are 205/45/16 on the 182 though. £120 a tyre.
See if theyll go cheaper though. When I had a 172 I replaced all 4 with Eagle F1 GS-D3 for £72.50 a tyre.
They will cancel the cover if they dont receive proof within a set time period. Mine once got lost under a pile of paperwork and they blamed me, then someone found it on there desk.
I was very worried as Id not been insured on a private car for over 2 years so that was my only proof.
Red is a good sporty colour. You see a lot less red cars on the road today compared to ten years ago.
I used to be able to look out the office window and see 75% of the cars on the car park below were red. Now its all silver and dark blues and greens.
You cant get them as an extra from Renault, only in a new car.
If you were to buy them from Recaro you would just need to sort out the airbag warning light and wiring, other than that you wouldnt have any problems.
I drove the Megane Trophy at Brands a week last Friday. Very nice car, certainly quick though too quite to be able to tell what the engine was doing. Felt a lot like a large Clio only with less steering feel. I was very impressed with it.
They are £550 extra in the 182, £850 in the 182 Cup.
Or from Recaro Direct: http://www.recaro-seats.co.uk/order.asp?Page=/sports.asp§ion=1&subsection=1&Price=0&Start=1&Keyword=&SearchDescription=&ListMake=&ListModel=&product=65Link A lot more.

Only 2 harness slots so loads of use on trackdays....NOT
Fine by me, I use my car to get me to and from work and harnesses make driving safely in Birmingham a nightmare. For the 4 or 5 times a year I go on track I can live without...
I remember doing that. They were very close, but I think yours was more metallic where the 172 was more pearlescent.
That looks the best Ive seen it yet mate. Spot on choice of colour for those wheels.:D

Theyde look better in a real 182.
How? They would look the same, the only difference in that picture is theres no shiny button on the handbrake.
I tried them the other week at Brands and found them to be a good balance. Certainly better than the standard seats.
Ill be having them in my next one.

Roamer got 150 odd and it still had more to come - it did have throttle bodies tho...

As he passed me. I was maxed out at 140mph on the clock and he was still going strong.....very strong.
The wheels are the same size as the 182 ones. 182 wheels look bigger than they are due to the spokes going to the edge.
Both mirrors look silver to me on the Autoexpress Photoshop.
