Nice to hear.
Although the driver with the trophy is obviously sponsored by Michelin, and the guy in the white shirt is figity (looks like he is lying).
I agree with all of this, but I still feel better off behind the wheel of the Trophy, I feel conneced to the tyres, not like there is a middle man relaying my inputs.
Meh, I think the lack of urgency and the slightly numb feeling of the electric steering forces me to say I'd choose the Trophy every time.
Maybe I'm being too harsh and I should drive the 200cup with the 7.5% quicker rack, but thats my impression from today.
I drove one of these today just to see what all the fuss is about..
PROS:
+Superior build quality
+A LOT comfier than the trophy for every day use
+Generally feels like a nice place to sit, the gear lever is in a better place, as is the whole driving position.
+It feels well balanced, less of...
I went to look at a 200 today..
''I've got a 182 trophy at the moment''
-'Oh yeah, we had a blue trophy in last month'
Only a minor thing, but the cluelesness continued...
No, I'm on the look out for second hand but I'm in no rush. I don't need it any harder than it already is tbh.
Love it tbh. Feels a lot more eager and responsive. The only downside being a sort of boomy bass noise in the cabin on idle.
Since my summer polish I've picked up a few swirls and tar etc so it needs claying and (all I can be bothered with) SRP by machine.
Will there be any issues if I do it tommorrow in 2-7degree temps in terms of the chemicals im using:
SRP
Jetseal
Dodo Supernatural.
Cheers
