Front few rivets off the side skirts. Angle out until you can get a 10mm ratchet spanner in for the wing bolt. With the scuttle, you don't have to remove the wipers, but it's easiest to if you've got a puller. I normally just manouvre the scuttle out of the way and use a UJ and 3/8"...

Yep, those bits squared above are the bits missing. TBH, they're a cnut to fit anyway- i'd just have some custom springs made up that suit the height you want!

My new project - 106 GTI Unsure on which brand of calipers, but I definitely fitted a set of 172 DS2500's into a GTi-6 no problems. Alfa GTV 3.0 pads fit too, but the Clio ones are bigger iirc..
