Front passenger wing removal

I'm stuck trying to get the above off.

Ive undone and taken off the bumper, disconnected the visible bolts and screws, and unbolted the headlight to give me more room. I've also unbolted the drivers side wipers and scuttle panel but can't undo the passenger side. I believe ive got to do this to get to the last bolt that the wing is held on by in the top right corner.

I've tried levering the wiper off but with no joy. I don't really want to lever to hard incase I break to scuttle panel.

It also looks like I have to take the side skirt off to get to the lower wing bolts. The screws that seem to hold the skirt in place are like a 3way/triangle shape screws. Anybody got any ideas on how to remove these parts please?

Its freezing cold outside and I feel like poo so ive come inside a warm flat for a hot cuppa, bit of lunch and have a little looksy on CS for some advice :)

Thanks, Mark.

From what I have read throughout CS Mark the side skirts need to come off to get access to the bolts you're talking about. They are security screws by the sounds of things there will be screw drivers in B and Q / Halfrauds and all that to accommodate. My windscreen wiper was a c*nt to get off in the end my dad got a special claw like tool out his works van that grips around the base of the wiper arm, and a screw pushes against what it's fixed to which popped it off eventually.

Sorry that's all I really know mate. Good luck!

Front few rivets off the side skirts. Angle out until you can get a 10mm ratchet spanner in for the wing bolt.

With the scuttle, you don't have to remove the wipers, but it's easiest to if you've got a puller. I normally just manouvre the scuttle out of the way and use a UJ and 3/8" socket/extension bar combo...

Thanks guys :)

Nick, I didn't know they was special screws. Damn cars not going anywhere at the mo :( Will have to wait for the gf to get back from the gym before I can get the tool.

Mike, I dont have a puller or a uj :( fancy fitting it for beer tokens? ;)

Sounds like you're almost all the way there mate!

If you've got a wobbly 3/8" extension, you should be able to get on the top bolt too. It's a bit fiddly, but do-able.

Rivets on the skirt, 100%. I normally just take a grinder to the side skirts on breakers, but on yours, you'll need to drill the first 2 or 3 rivets out to get to the bolts. Ideally replacing them after, but TBH i think the clips on the body are firm enough not to worry...
