In-Car PC costs about £900 to do it properly.
I did it, and now Ive taken it out.
TouchScreen VGA 7" Screen (Composite Output isnt really suitable for it, cant read text), Proper 12v DC-DC PSU (Shutsdown/boots using ignition) etc..
Philips Blue Vision were *A LOT* better than my standard bulbs.
Dunno what bulbs are standard in a Cup, but compared to my standards, they were amazing! Well worth the £24.99 (Two H4s and Two Sidelights)
Not sure, have to ring a few places.
I think the BB one is the only one at present which has been done, used, tested etc.. and they know all the problems associated with it, so maybe best?
I can see it using all of your 7k budget, tho.. hehe.
001 hasnt been written off.. most people said Frank Williams wrote it off, but search the forum - you can see one!
So, either a) 001 is a Right Hand Drive, written off.. so they got a LHD and changed the plaque.. or b) everyone was wrong, hehe.

Inverters arnt suitable for this, really.
They reset comp on engine start, they dont shut it down automatically..
i got a Proper DC-DC PSU.. It used a remote wire to boot it up, shut comp down properly.. it didnt reset on engine start etc.. it was also a lot more efficient.. on the other...
