Daz: "its easy - they just come straight off"
1 Hour Later
Mat: "This aint budging"
Hahahaha. Well, it looked easy in the Haynes.. Hehe!
If you want a 16v engine, you might aswell get a Williams/Megane engine.. ok itll cost more, but be worth it.
That R5,
Depends if you wanna have it rebuilt etc.. or not. it would be ok if you going to put an uprated clutch on and rebuild it.
Its pretty good - shame they never made a PC version else Id have had it.
I used Destinator2 on my CarPC - which worked ok, but I reckon TomTom would have been better.
TomTom Traffic seems mint - TMC is very useful, specially when it can re-route you round traffic jams!
Mine are screwed in the ends (the screw was already there!).. and a strip of bodywork fixing stuff (like silicone but sets rock hard) to hold them on.
They aint moving anywhere. Heh.
Its good, but I dont think its as good as the price suggests.
Never used it.. but... heh.
I know on some of the expensive ones, you get free refills.. which would probably be useful if you owned a valetting company - just no valetting companies use it.. so dunno?
Battery is ok at anything between 12 - 13 when engine not running. Should goto about 14.4 with engine running, drop a bit with fans, heater, lights all on etc..
Noticed this too.. just the last couple of months, people on roundabouts changing between lanes without looking or signalling..
In general, people change lanes without looking too.. seems to have become worse the last few months.
I have a bluetooth one.
Easy, no drilling or anything. Just connect to stereo.. mount mic on sticky pad, mount buttons on sticky pad..
Phone stays in pocket, on seat, anywhere.. as long as its within 10m of the car!
Very good.
