Indeed. My sister has a 182, and when parked next to my 197 it has 0% presence. The rear arches are sooooo skinny. Its all about the flaired bodywork ;)

Nope. The Standard seats are VERY good. One of the best non branded sportseats i've sat in. The Recaro's in the 197 are fabric covered.

Older 197, bin suspension for coilovers = Money in the bank, and more focused than a Cup, with the added bonus of keyless entry + AC ;)

With only a 20kgs saving on the 197 cup, it should be ashamed to carry the Cup name, real Cups save 80+....... I think 197 cheap is more appropriate, think 182 ;)

...... go on, you know you want to!!!;) Tbh the 197 can look a little ungainly from some angles, i always think they look much better on the road/in the flesh. They are also hard to photo for some reason :( The future is here ;)

Ah, they were also painted Silver lol!!! They are a pain when just the metal finish, as you probably realise with the Brembos. The dust seems to etch into the castings :( With a painted Caliper surface, i just spritz some Autoglym Machine cleaner? on them when washing, brush down with a paint...

Painted mate, did them over easter this year. Look 100% better than the standard cast finish. Easier to clean too. I *may* have gone over the calipers with some autoglym a week before the photo's :o

I went from this, H&R Coilovers, Recaro Trendlines, ITG Maxogen, To this, The 197 is also running H&R coilovers. Would i go back to a MK2? Well if i had to, Only a 172 Cup, or Trophy would suffice. I'd now see it as a downgrade ;) The build is soooo much better than...

Its w**k to be honest. The ff term is CS slang. It was first used to mean a 182 with all options, ie, fully loaded, so full fat. This is a 182 with both Cup pack options (suspension and spoiler pack). Now for some reason, and may i add wrongly, it seems to be used for a 172 (has no options) and...
