Dont get this obsession of not wanting the car back if its been in a shunt. As long as its not a major accident (it doesnt sound like it?) whats the problem? I crashed my Cup back in the day (front end) And it was fine when repaired, saved me a few jobs also. Some goon had pushed the bonnet down...
Ha! I would have a MK2 again no question! Cup or Trophy only!!! Would miss the refinement of the 197..... and its gearbox..... and its looks..... and its brakes...... and its seats....... ;)
MK2 Clio comes all the way to the grill edge, so will lift to some degree! Had a nose when it was at kevs, tbh i think its the bonnet at fault, the fit tollerence is less than standard (bigger gaps) Looks good though :)
Dunno maybe try a search? i cant remeber for the life of me!!! I'm pretty sure they were 3.5 inch, but because they are proper slash cut, ie not rolled in or out, they look smaller. I loved it :)
I'd put money on the AST's being better, more focused, the rears look interesting pieces of kit :) But as a fast road set up H&R's are excellent, they are leagues ahead of the FK's.....
