im not sure its the hat that would cause it to fail, there all set to a poundage for the size and strength of a spring, cutting the spring down cause massive stress on it its worked hard and would split and fail

hello, how much should i pay for a aftermarket alarm? i have a 172 with the alarm but it has stopped working, the car still locks etc but the LED has stopped flashing and it will not go off no matter what, i dont want a fancy one witch makes coffee etc jsut somthing that will go off...
