Mine goes in for the 3rd time in a couple of weeks. Hopefully theyll let me take them out and show them what I mean. The last two occasions they have carried out the strut top mount fix, which wasnt even an issue on my car!!
Yeah, that is the cover.
I dont know where they got that time from, Im guessing they didnt test the 0 - 60. If they did then no wonder Brundle didnt win a World Championship if he cant even launch a little Clio. :p
Once again its up against cars massively more expensive yet still holds its own. Martin Brundle loved it "A mini racing car that changes direction than almost anything here. A great surprise".
They also post a lap time for it around Anglesey, but I wont post that so as not to spoil it...
Sorted, I know what it is.
A while ago the headlamp washers stopped working. Its the relay for those. It must have been hanging lose for a while. Ive just put the car in the garage out of the snow and tried them out. They now work. Thats one less job for the garage to do.
Thanks to...

youll be lucky, itll be like this til xmas now!
I hope...
I tried all those things T3ZJ. I couldnt find anything that didnt work.
Nothing in the manual. Ill just add it to the list of things for them to check when it goes in.
Im tempted to ask them to look at the dash rattles, but to be honest I want the car back within 24 hours as I dont...
I had the side off the dash at the weekend as the headlamp washers arent working. In fact its booked in on the 2nd of December to have those done, the alarm and knocking from the front for the 3rd time, and the exhaust centre section is doing the usual!!
Ill go have a look in the handbook.
I cant get the number off it now. Its back in the car.
They all looked the same to me under there. Its the one that goes in the socket nearest the door.
Notice how the pins are bent, I wonder how that happened?
Hello,
This morning on my way back from Manchester I hit a rather large pot hole. I saw it coming so was going very slowly, but couldnt avoid it totally as I was on a single track road. The jolt caused this to pop out into the passenger footwell...
Sutton Park have a Silver one for sale for £14,999 I think. Theyve had it over a month now as it was there the last time I took mine in.
They also have a racing Blue striped 182 Cup.
I wonder if its because Titanium silver is quite dull compared to iceberg. Personally I prefer it...
As Dave said, get a Cliosport one from the merchandise page.
What has that guy done to that poor 172!! And as usual, 200bhp is just dreaming, must have been on the LAD rollers. LOL
Superchip gives an estimated 10bhp, Magnex 1 or 2, K & N, bugger all.
I saw that the other day on Sky Sports. Great to watch. The white and orange Clio (which you dont show) was cleaning up each of his heats, then in the final someone shunted him off first corner.
Renault must have sent them a normal one with no stripes. As for the Cup spoiler pack, its hardly noticable. I doubt he would know if it had it or not.
The 172 or Cup didnt get as much good press as this. :D
Washed with Zymol Autobathe, Cleansed with Zymol HD Cleanse, then waxed with Zymol Titanium wax. Then after a few hours, misted with water and buffed. Dont know if Ill ever do it again though as it took ages. Good job it lasts...
Clio. Found the site while looking for some backdrops of 172s I think.
I was going to get a CTR but my g/f at the time hated them and loved the Monaco Blue 172.
Im sure I got the car before I found the site. Me and my bad memory.
Which Zymol is it? Ive got the Titanium wax starter pack, it wasnt cheap but it certainly seems worth it. The pack I got was £128. :o
Amazing stuff though, and applied with your bare hands, it did my eczema the world of good. LOL

Hear hear... 5th gear sucks...she didnt even get to 180mph.... pussy!!
I cant stand VBH, but still watched it just in case the Clio was on this week.
As for her top speed run, she had loads of room at the end of that runway to be...
Mine is done with Zymol Titanium wax. When parked next to exactly the same car mine looked a lot darker with such a nice deep coat of wax on it. Months on the water just runs off it. Amazing stuff.
Sod the mileage, I dont get spending all that money on a fun car but not driving it. If it...
I agree with that. Ive been in a few 1.2s and a diesel as well as having a 1.2 courtesy car and none of them were as bad as mine. I would blame the stiffer suspension but two of the 1.2s I went in were far stiffer and lower.
