From what i can see it looks like only the clutch bellhousing is knackered. Without getting the box out, you won't know though. If it is just that section, i'm pretty sure you could buy any JC5 box (knackered 172 one maybe) and swap the bellhousings... I've never tried though Saying that, the...

Ouch! Proper job, that! Looks to have smashed the bell housing casing, the engine block and the flywheel! Need to strip it apart to see what needs replacing/what was at fault. If it's a new clutch, my bet is that something's not been fitted correctly. Something like the clutch friction plate...

32mm Crows foot. Bit grinded off to make it thinner. Either that, or a 32mm viscous fan spanner bent to shape might work? Not sure how tight they have to go?
