You'd be surprised. Alans getting more outof his works than the r27. Black interior, with satnav, the interiors decent. And I really like the variable lighting. Gimmick, but I'm simple.
Indeed, but there's no need for anyone to carry out such a test really. Tracks tend to flatter NA engines with peakier power delivery. On the road it's a different story, the Meg/Focus vid was on the road.
Even if the 197 was genuinely 3s quicker per lap, I still wouldn't have one as I find...
Had a really good go in a Swift Sport, my sister worked for them for a while. Nice chassis and cabin, but I think they left the engine out. She's at Nissan now, pestering her for a 370z drive.
Does amaze me. A lot of 197 owners would have you believe that the car's a quantumn leap over a 1*2 in terms of build, but more and more of these stories are surfacing.
There haven't been many responses as you're comparing modified cars. Pretty sure the sc'd 172 would muller a 197, does this prove that the 172 is a faster car? Of course not.
The above is completely meaningless. Different drivers, possibly on different days? Proves f**k all! To make a genuine...
Sounds like they are trying to pull a fast one. No offence intended, but it sounds like you don't know anything about the brakes etc, get someone who knows what they are doing to take a look.
3 times they couldn't get my car driving straight. Then told me my rear axle was bent. £20 at my local tyre fella, straight and true. Muppets.
Demon Tweeks might be worth the drive?
No doubt. But whats the point of selling a car for one that's not much cheaper, but due to age will likely cost more to maintain, and won't be quite as good to drive?
