Been mapped/ adjustable fuel regulator or anything? If they have, they usually have a higher limiter than standard, up from 7.2 rpm iirc. Just make sure its warm when you try it, anything above would say its been remapped (possibly badly if rich lol)
but it is if they are not ment to be lifted. Tbh i'd love to be stood in the room listening you arguing your case to trading standars/Renault. Something like a badly designed bonnet catch is a design fault, ie the MK2 safety catch that didnt work (if not serviced)...... these wipers are not...
.......but i would notice it was hitting the bonnet lol!!! I changed mine about a month ago. You dont keep ragging stuff till something breaks/scratches etc
But nothing should be forced, that my point. In which way are they faulty? They clear the screen from rain....... thats it!!! Does it state in the handbook they can be pulled back to wash/change wipers? Its a bit like saying its a design fault that you have to take the bumper off to change a...
Mondial Blue is the best colour on a Mk2 Clio, coupled with Turinis makes it the better still. Without the cup, all you 'ff' fags wouldn't have spoliers and splitters to go and put on your lardy cars ;) 99% of 'ff' 172 owners try (and fail) to make them look like Cups........ :rasp:
end.
Why is it a fault? Nothing should be forced back..... i've replaced my wipers no problem. Didnt you notce they were twatting the bonnet when forcing them back lol. Learnt the hard way i say ;)
Crapola!!!!! Made my Cup a dog, full of flat spots through out the rpm range etc. Its also shockingly made, when cleaning out the throttle body there was grit in there.......
And there is no such thing as a ff 172. Its either a 172, or a 172 cup. The end. :)
