Yeah, imo, 25mm is too much, especially if lowered a lot. The wheel looks level to the arch at the front, and imo the wheel will catch or 'grab' the arch on lock if spaced too far. 10-15mm would be spot on imo
believe it or not, the seats have been known to rattle in where they locate to..... Try folding them down, go for a spin, if its cured, theres your problem lol

looking at some spacers for the 197 (yes been talked into it) Now i want a branded set, eg H&R/ebaich fk etc etc. Looking at 15mm or so, but cant find any online. I believe the size is 5x108 PCD???

Exactly why i got mine. I wanted a 197, but also wanted it lowered. I could have *just* stretched to a Cup, but i opted for a better equiped (inside) 2nd hand 197, and with the money saved got the H&R's, wich are feckking superb tbh.......
197's need a bit more stick to get them to drive quickly, but the engine is MUCH smoother above 5k to the limiter etc Less gruff tha the old lump, which sounded in pain 6k+. The 197 lump begs for more;) They are more refined, so feel less quick than mk2, but i've had them side by side (standard...
Indeed. Mine is a 'boggo version', but with the following options, climate, folding mirrors, rear tints 6 disk in dash changer..... the lights are not Xenons, but are the dedicated cornering lights lol. Lowered on H&R Coilovers. I have loads of pics if needed. Might purchase some spacers lol.

they can over heat and warp! This car has been tracked if i remeber picks back in the day withs its old owner......... Wouldnt say its common for the clutches to go at all either tbh
