It can't be that hard. Get the haynes guide on brakes and feel some self satisfaction. Saying that, if your rear brakes fail it's nothing major, not like they do much really lol
22 when I got my 182. 1250quid for 10months (Admiral accelerator - pay for 10 months, get a full years NCB at the end). Was my first own car. Drove my mums before that on her insurance.
Silver is an easy one, as pretty much any colour goes with it. Saying that, red is my favourite.
Where is the best place to get spray on caliper paint?
There is nothing wrong with the temperature control, or directional flow/speed. Its just the motor sounds like its struggling. Which part of the resistor pack would this be?
Surely thats not the case. If the wire is cut the ECU will detect it and hence log a fault, causing the dash to illuminate. Thats what happened when I cut my airbag wires anyway.
I have tried it on a few variations of flow direction and the noise is always present. Its only at high power flow though.Sounds like its coming from infront of the steering wheel.
Turned the climate control on yesterday and its started sounding very load when on full blast compared to normal. Anyone else had this problem. It sounds like the motor is struggling. Any ideas?
Are you sure its not just the bump knocking the back out a little on bends. If you hit a ridge or a hole in the bend the back will flick a little, but nothing extreme. Depends how fast your driving really. That said, lift off over steer is another one, or heavy braking on bends causing the back...
It will probably try to pull to the right in 1st when setting off at high revs, but not any gears above that. Was the road cambered? Did it pull serverely? Is the steering wheel on straight?
They are standard disc/pads. Its not really a creeking noise, and you can hear it in the car when it does it. Would warped discs only make noises on occassion?
Pads and disc are fine, just had service and MOT done. Could there be a problem with the calipers themselves? Its doesn't do it all the time, its unpredictable.
