whats the best thing to clean it with without causing any damage?

Which gauge do you mean? I have never noticed it coming on in heavy traffic before. I have noticed what looks like steam coming from somewhere between the passenger headlight and the radiator. Wondered if this could have something to do with it not coming on?

Presumably you sprayed the whole lot then sanded over the renaultsport lettering? Covering them would have been a b**ch. Looks mint. Whats the exhaust mate?

Yeah looks good sprayed. What sort of paint you use? Presumably you removed the inlet before spraying it?

I'm looking at doing a few things on my car, but i'm sick of borrowing tools all the time. What stuff would you guys recommend? I'm looking at socket and torx sets, but spanner wise will i need more than 8 and 13mm? Jonny

When i have taken my filter hose off, my TB looks clean even after 47K. Is it the non-visible side which needs cleaning? will it help with the spluttery idle?

Could it have messed up the mass air sensor causing the ECU to adjust the acoustic valve?

Will it eventually clear itself out? I didnt drive with it off, but the engine was on when I took it off. Also, why would this effect the acoustic valve sound?

Can you definately do this? Does that include the bearings too as I know they are part of 182 rear disk also.

Basically I took it off where it attaches to the engine, which made it loader, but slower. Since I put it back on though, the kick at 5k seems less than normal. Also the acoustic valve (at least i think thats where the noise is coming from) is making mile more noise than before.

....driving around with the filter pipe removed to anything to the engine? Damage etc?

Anyone know why on brake fluid bottles it says 'brake and clutch' fluid? How does the brake fluid do stuff to the clutch, or is there a different resevoir for it?:S

You mean its the induction? Problem is i've no basis for comparison really. Its definately changed volume over night though. Its strange.
