I would for sure. Apparently my old Cup made 190bhp :approve: on a RR session last week!!! Maxogen, GrpN, inlets decat and exhaust. Fookin mint!!! Look best also.
I had a 172 Cup, then a Cup packed 182. 172 looked the best, went the best, and imo is the best MK2 (probebly afer a Trophy, but...
Fook £50!!!!!!. I hate PC'ing. Give fantasic results, but its very slooow and with the noise and vibraton, very tiresome. We charged £100 for a day on a BMW 1 series. It takes a good day or so imo to get rid of marring etc. That said, results are impressive :)
Imo yes. I had my Turinis refurbished in Anthricite, in powder caot form, and they were good!!!. Then after a year or so, i wanted them Silver again as imo it works better with the Mondial bluue of the Cup. When i got them back (again power coated in Silver) they were really flat and dull...
Style and substance, love this car :approve:
Powder coating is better for durability. Much tougher finish, needs less mintenance. Tend to look good in dark finishes. Sparying will give a more glossy finish, and if metallic, plenty of fleck/sparkle etc. I had some Turinis powder coated Silver...
buh? I'm not defensive and upset at all? I have merely pointed out an ommision you made ;) For the record i have had a Cup and a 182 and the difference in straight line speed is nill. I had my 182 standard, against a mate in a 197 (standard) last summer. We found ever it was who stepped on the...
No i never had the Renault changer, although i had my Kenwood 6 disk under the passenger seat in the Cup. Just had the Renault single CD jobbie in the 182. The subframes are part Recaro with Renault sliders. Imo the changer will still be fine with Trendlines :)
Like to know where you got that from. Cup set up is 7mm lower than standard. H&R springs are approx 30mm lower on a standard car. So even my basic maths puts that @ around 23mm lower thn a Cup set up ;). Also LOL at the previous quote about the Cup being the best there is. I remember back in the...
Its too much imo. Take 10mm or so off and it'll be reet. Problem is the hubcentric ones come only in 25mm, as these spacers first bolt to the hub, then the wheel bolts to the spacer. Less than 25mm means a normal spacer and wheel bolts are needed. If there were any positives in spacing out the...
Excellent!!! White does look soooo good. :)
^Still not convinced on the spacers imo. Looks too stuck out, pretty much level with the arch?? I run mine without and it looks fine, mine probably runs a wee bit lower on the front. I'd be slightly worried of the wheel 'grabbing' the front arch...
All coilovers will give the same looks effect. They are seldom dropped to a certain measurement, more a comprimise between suspension travel and ride comfort etc.
My old Cup
Tar remover. Best way i found is to squirt it under the bumpstops all the way along the car. Leave a good ten mins. Watch it dissolve/run off, amazing stuff. Then give the car a good SRP EPG to seal up the paint again :)
