You got away with it because you are Welsh. If it had been me they would have had me bent over the back of the squad car. :o;)
I got done by a camera van on a bridge on that stretch of motorway a couple of years back.
He said 20% when I spoke to him on Friday night K. But I have to admit, I was very drunk at the time.
Its a lad I went to school with. I knew he worked in the body shop at Renault Wolverhampton as Id spoken to him when he got his 172 last year. He mentioned last night that if I...
If I was to purchase a new Renault using a friends and family discount would this be a discount on top of anything I had already arranged with the dealer or would it be a set amount off the RRP of the car?
Does anyone know roughly how much this would be off a 182 with Cup pack?
Cheers

I swapped all 4 of my Contis for these at 12k miles. Im really impressed with the levels of grip they generate. They even improved the ride.
Im running the same pressures as the Contis, front 33 rear 30.
Not to mention the fact they match my trainers and leave cool patterns in the snow.
You can tell Renault have now worked out the Clio is a womans car by there choice of person to front the advertising campaign. ;) No more sexy Nicole or the like....
Sell it, I sold my GTi-6 when I got a company car. Youll get hit for quite a lot of tax on the company car so its not really a massive saving. You will end up more out of pocket for having both cars.
Its not really worth it IMO, you can always buy another 172 or the like when the situation...
I agree, markets do change. When I purchased mine no dealer was prepared to offer me a decent price, unlike today where they do.
At the end of the day Im far too lazy to go about importing a car myself.
I have af friend who used to bring over Jap Imports and sell them on for profit. He...
I think youll find a they are classed as parallel imports not grey, and I saved over £2k. There are still issues insuring grey imports from Japan and the like, where as all insurance companies recognise cars sold by supermarkets as what they are, UK cars just bought over on someone elses boat...
He really is talking complete and utter BS now. All the cars are built in the same factory!!!
There are a lot of people on here who have got imports and quite a few have been told things like that by dealers.
Id buy another import if the saving was there to be made. Obviously its not...
Motorpoint will tell you anything if they think they can sell you an additional warrarnty.
As for insurance admob is right. None of them care that its an EU import. The only thing that would bother them is if it were left hand drive.
I made a point of stating I had a different alarm to the...
Its hard to tell if there is much difference to be honest. I purchased it to replace a Pipercross filter which had fallen to bits.
When I purchased the Pipercross there was maybe a small difference at low revs but barely noticable. When I purchased the ITG Id had a Magnex cat back system...
Heres the letter Renault send out regarding EU imports and warranties:

If youve seen them going for more then take copies of the adverts and send them to your insurance company. I was told to do that in the past, when I was making a claim.
