They didnt. Apparently a change in the way they purchase them now makes this impossible. :@ I just ordered two and was told £359.00, but they did them for £349 in the end, which is, as you say a good price still.
Theyll be with me on Tuesday.
Im not happy paying £350 when I know they have sold them to us at £320 and I can get one of Has for £320, but the old lad doesnt take plastic :(
I was buying 2 also.
You are one hell of a tolerant guy Iain. Id be in there wanting to see heads roll if that had happened to me. Id probably go as far as taking a day off work and spending it in the dealers constantly demanding answers.
Good luck mate, give the b******s hell. You want free stuff, as well as...
Rocko posted some pictures of his installed a whille back but they are no longer there. Any chance someone could post a few of there B2s in 172 or the like?
Ta.
If they are an awkward dealer and can find some way for blaming that, saying that its placed more stress on the system then it may be a problem.
Only one way to find out.
Ive been looking at getting one for a while and will certainly be buying one before the Scotland trip.
So far Ive considered the Road Angel, because it does what it says on the box and the Origin B2, because it does all that, and more should I want to do more.
I know a lot of people on...
When I bought my car this time last year dealer prices were way too high and weret even close to Import prices no matter how hard I pushed. In fact most wouldnt even give me the time of day, let alone sell me a car.
We all know the sort of margins they have there cars but at least over the...
Im just being realistic, import owners shouldnt expect to get the same as a UK dealer supplied car.
Obviously it will vary dealer to dealer. Try them again at the end of the month when hes struggling to meet his targets then see what he offers!!
Come on Tom, they wont exactly go out of...
Why, its what its worth. He made that saving when he purchased it in the first place so its only fair that he gets less when part exchanging it. Youll loose out though as all these imports will devalue yours!!
I was offered 10k for a mine a few weeks ago by a Honda dealer against a new CTR...
Its hard to tell. When I went from OE to a Pipercross there was maybe a small difference in how easily it pulled but when I swapped to the ITG Id had the exhaust already done so any difference wasnt so noticable.
Either way, unless you are going to get an IK itll save you a few quid when...
Just in case anyone hasnt already seen this about imports and warranty, here it is again: http://www.leemather.plus.com/stuff/rw.jpgWarranty letter
To be honest there is a lot less reason to buy an import now dealers and brokers can offer decent prices.
I dont know. When mine went in for its first bit of work at 3 weeks old the service guy just took the details of the badge inside the door and entered it on the system.
Anyone who knows anything about Clios (not dealers then) can spot an import.
When they serviced your car they should have taken the relevant details and entered them into the database. From the VIN they should have been able to determine where the car was originally destined for.
If not call Renault customer services with your VIN and registration details. There...
Ive got no complaints about the Eagle F1 GS-D3s. I replaced all 4 corners with these and have been very impressed so far.
Thay appear to be wearing pretty well but I dont expect to get as many miles out of them as I did the old Contis.
