Welcome to Cliosport.
Where are you from? Im just down the road from Wolvo, in fact I know a lad who works for Renault Wolverhampton .
I take it that will be two new members soon then? ;)
You should have driven mine when I offered the other week. Then you would of heard knocking, and rattling. To quote some witty post I once read (by me) ;), it rattles like a skeleton cracking one off in a biscuit tin.
Its a good job its so much fun and offers such an entertaining drive. :D
I noticed in today Car mag they had it against the Leon, Mini Cooper S and Pug 206 GTi 180. The final comment was that the Clio is the best hot hatch you can get for the money.
I spoke to the company which sells these at the Autosport show earlier this year. I almost got one. One of there sales staff reviews radar detectors for his own site and was actually very impartial.
Apparently as far as GPS goes, the camera database they use is as good as the one used by the...
If I was you Id go and drive it and see if its different enough to make you want to change.
As you say, the wheels go a long way in my view as Im not a fan of the 172 ones, but I love the Turinis on the Cup.
To be honest, I did consider it. But then I realised that I use my car every day for transport more than anything else and I enjoy doing it in comfort.
I was chatting to a friend who works for Renault last weekend and I commented on the Cup (he also has a 172) and his reply was "why would you...
I got the blue vision free with 2 pairs of Silvervision. That was about 10 months ago!!
How can anyone say they look the same. Look at the two pictures!!
Getting the Blue vision sidelight bulbs as well as the silvervision indicator ones is a good idea. Next to the xenons the sidelights have a very orange light. With Bluevision its not really any brighter (they are only sidelights) but its a much whiter light.
Here you go:
Standard 172...
That sounds about right to me. A guy I work with slid into the cerb in his 206 GTi the other day and his repairs are coming to just over £150.
Typical that they didnt look at your car until mid afternoon. I always take mine in at 8. Last time I did this they didnt look at it until 4pm...
Sorted, its the black cable in the cigarette lighter adaptor. Typical that Ive left my soldering iron at work so cant fix it until tomorrow morning.
It always happens to me. :@
My Origin B2 arrived this morning so Ive just spent the evening neatly running the cables. I made a nice neat job of it if I do say so myself.
Id already updated the unit at work earlier today and all that went okay. Dropped it in the cradle and nothing, totally dead. :(
All I can think...
Right, they have arrived.
Bearing in mind Im not the most technical person in the world I need to know how people have run the cables in a 172?
Im going to install it in the same place as Rocko, but would like to know where and how the cables were run?
Ideally I would wait for the weekend...
What is it with you lot buying stuff then not putting it on? :p
Im hoping to get mine back on the PE Rolling Road this year to see how much difference the exhaust and filter have made, if any.
