For you info (copied and pasted from an email i received from Cobra)
Hi,
Sorry to hear about the problems you have experienced with the fitment. We do make a lowered subframe for the Clio Mk3, but this is designed specially to suit our race seat range.
However there are 2 further options...
That exhaust is w**k. I also hate the fact the first pre production VXR's had no diffuser, then out came the clio, and hey presto it now has one. Same with the 'borrowed' ST style indicator detailing........
pppppffffttt! I'm currently waiting on bits :( There is a sneeky pic on the birchdown website (work in progess lol)
Where is this body shop that you speak of, my bumper need touching up oooh er!!!
LOL!! i was in stealth mode (works van) although never saw your pretty face and car :( To give you an idea where i was, i passed the Trophy by the roundabout (Tesco or Some supermarket just off it?) ;) I was also heading to the M6!
I tend to do this over the Easter hols. Gets rid of all the salt and s**te collected over the winter months. It'll be the 197's first time :o I'll get to tackle the Brembos that are in need of a good scrub :)
They'll feel 100% better than the high chairs.
Also you may have noticed the x4 silver aluminium spacers fitted between the sliders and seats. Cobra say these can be removed. So you can sit another 10mm lower. I did this
Congleton around 1630. I think this car is always spotted but he's not a member. Also may i add how well Capsicum red looks in the sun, first time its ever done anything for me :o
Well you should as it only takes a small 'spike' (static off you/carpets etc) to deploy the airbags/pre-tentioners. Disconnect, and leave for a good half hour before you start.
This usually happens if the wheels get refurbed/repainted. The holes on the alloys that the bolts go into should have no paint where the taper of the bolt sits.
