Yours always looks spotless Mike. That was just a quick wash after the drive back from Wales. You should have seen it Saturday before I left for Donington. I washed and waxed it. Then it looked good.
One word of warning about the Magnex. Dont touch it after a blast. They get hot.

They have to cut to remove the existing back box. Its the only way to remove it from a 172 apparently. Something to do with it going above something or other! Mine was cut when I had the full cat back system fitted
Renault sell a sleeve should you want to put the old exhaust back together...
Thats what I was told about the knocking from my front suspension strut tops. After the 3rd attempt to fix it they said they would have to contact Renault UK to see if they have any more bright ideas on how to cure it. Until then Im stuck with it.
An after market exhaust wont invalidate the...

Dont get chatting to Stuart or youll be leaving with a Magnex on it too, or even some new wheels.

Im with Norwich Union, through the AA Neil. But then with what I pay I think it would be a bit unfair for them to take more off me :@

All Ive got to do now is find a family member with some ramps, I just dont have enough bricks to get the car up high enough!!:o
Fred, Leeroy!! :p
Over the weekend I acquired a Cup splitter for my 172. I know a few people have already fitted them to theirs so has anyone got any handy hints?
Also, there is nothing running behind the bumper at the edges, but the guard at the front would take some moving, and I dont really want to go...
I wondered that. Renault build quality isnt good, but to forget a component on every single car would be rediculous!!
Forums, what a great place for promoting mass panic and hysteria. :o;)
So does this mean that people can no longer blame that when they crash their cups? ;)
One of the guys I work with kept going on about me getting a custom build, but Im too lazy and always want things now.
Id had a good nose at what others had at meets before I decided. Two things put me off the K Tec, one the noise, too loud for my delicate ears ;) and two was the number of...
Some pictures of a 3.5" twin round exit on my 172. http://www.leemather.plus.com/images/Newclio/index.htmlhttp://www.leemather.plus.com/images/Newclio/index.html
Judging by the rolling roads Ive been on this year Id say there is a strong chance having the pipercross panel in lost me a couple of BHP, but it also made it pull a little harder, so its swings and round abouts.
Last night on the way home was my first chance to give it some stick with both...
