Yep agree. I fould mine was being marred by the Megs drying towel. I then switched to a sonus microfibre towel, and even that still marred. I now 'blot' the car dry with the sonus towel. Very time consuming, but much better. I will by a water filter come spring, as i think now with winter...
My old one
;)
Mods were, H&R coilovers, Recaro Trendline seats, Momo Race 320mm steering wheel, ITG Maxogen, ported inlets, GRP N ecu, decat. Well miss it :(. Anything happens to my 182, wouldn't hesitate to get another Cup!
Hmmm maybe not then. With both my coilovered cars i noticed the arb at the back of the wishbones were hitting the subframe. Its a quick check you can do on the floor tbh, it was obvious on mine, cracked paint on the arb and marks on the alu coloured subframe. Smallest bumps though....... top...
70k or 5 yrs. I got mine done @ 50k as it gets some stick. Main thing to remember is to change the AUX belt @ 35k ish. Not in the service book, but a few have been known to fail and take out the cambelt!!!!!Chepa on a Cup too, around £12, and about 15 mins to change too!
Nice gsi that!!! Always likes them. If i were in your shoes i'd get the Cup, pay off the loan, job done. The Cup would be more like the corsa, basic interior, but max bang per ££££ :)
What gets me is, if i was a salesman, i wouldn't give a fook who you were, my job is to sell the car.... earn comission etc!!!! I wouldn't actually care if you couldn't insure it lol!!!
