On the evidence of a few nights ago, not much in it. Lacks a bit of agility in slower corners and quick direction changes, but just as quick through faster corners. Obviously better mid-range punch.
Sounds like a good drive, 20% more torque at low revs should feel more urgent. Wonder if the the 200 with cup packs gets the quicker steering rack, or just the cup? Still think it looks hideous next to the 197.
My AST's will be for sale very soon. Would be slightly over budget though. IMO, for purely B-road, Eibach sportlines and new standard dampers would be the best bet.
