Its all those dam cups cheapening the colour, thats what it is ;)
I saw a rare Red Mk1 172 yesterday on the M40. Very nice.
I still dont see any other blue ones around here. I see a couple of silver, and one black from time to time.
Anyway mike, what makes you think Im sitting watching...
I dopped into my local Renault dealer this morning to book my car in for an oil and filter change, and to get the knocking when cornering on an un even surface fixed.
Outside was a new Cup. I commented to the service guy that looking at the Cup it almost makes me want to chop mine in against...
Cheers Jeremy, I should have elaborated a little. I meant to say that the cars which Motorpoint sell are from within the EU, but always worth making sure first. Mine came from Holland. I checked where mine came from and when it was registered in its native Country before I got it. I lost a...
I went over buying an import with a fine tooth comb. Its so common these days there is very little to worry about. I see more cars with Motorpoint plates on when driving to work than any of the local dealers!!
The main reasons I got it from there was that the main dealers werent at all...
It will have a 3 year warranty. You just have to claim it from Renault. It wont have brakedown cover, it will be 2003 spec. I picked mine up on March 5th and its 03 spec. Although they have changed a little again since then, apparently the very recent ones dont have a drivers side door lock...
I took mine in and the service guy said, "Your drivers seat does the same". I got out and shook it, to show him it didnt knock in the runners. He then said "Its not as bad as our courtesey cars". To which I replied "Its not one of your courtesey cars though is it? Its mine and its only 2...
EBD is electronic brake distribution.
I got mine from Motorpoint of Derby in March. The car will be an import from either Belgium, France or Holland usually. Its a UK spec car in every way. The UK dealers fit the alarms, so you would need to fork out for one. Motorpoint will fit that for...
Not at all, I missed out 5 x 3 point seatbelts, 3 rear headrests, rear seat belt pre tensioner; R.A.I.D, CAT 1 alarm and immobiliser; remote central locking, sports body styling, body coloured side mouldings and handles, heat reflective sound insulating windscreen, front fogs, body coloured...
Wish I had a scanner here, Id scan the brochure.
Taken from the 172 Brochure.
Here goes:
ABS with EBD, 4 air bags, Dark grey leather and alcantara interior, drilled auminums pedals; leather/aluminium gear knob, Leather steering wheel, body colour spoiler; 16" alloys; Xenon double optic...
Welcome Gwynny.
Mine was showing I had 44 miles left but the needle was in the red, so I filled up, the tank took 40 litres, so must have had close to 10 left. Seems fairly good to me.
Congrats Mark.
Jas, Id better make sure you have Marks correct address. Its exactly the same as mine, which is really odd :D And it might be a good idea to put my name on there too;) instead of Marks.
Im trying hard to resist making any further smutty remarks :D
As mine is getting older it seems to be getting less rattles!! Maybe it will squeek itself out!!
I was wondering that Dust. I had a sneezing fit the other morning on the way in to work so decided to put the CC on. Seemed to help.
I assume Clios have pollen filters?
I work in an air conditioned office so when I leave at night it really hits me :(
Its certainly better than the dream I had the night before, that one left me on a real downer all day!!
Last night I also dreamt Id gone to an old war reunion, and Id been in the war, except everyone else was old now and Id not aged!!
woohoo, looking good.
And its so clean and shinny too. Has it had a respray at some point in its life, because it looks in great nick.
Is Fred going to stop there though!!! I doubt it, now hes started that think will be as low as whale sh1t next time he gets his hands on it :D
It does keep things fresh in the car.
Ive never really used it since I had a GTi-6. Everytime it kicked in you could really feel the difference to the performance, and the car idled a couple of hundred RPM more.
Id never be without it though.
Stop it bambam, its hard enough resisting as it is.
Ive given in trying to keep it clean for more than one day. This morning it just spotted with rain all the way to work, so now even more dust has been attracted to the car.
I blame the CC dogmaul, but it could just be my heavy right...
Ive had exactly the same problem this week. A couple of times I had the climate control on, mainly when on the motorway, but most the time Ive had the window down. The CC does really seem to suck fuel too.
Nothing like dropping a cog when going through a tunnel :D
Ive just cleared 4k miles...
