I had mine done at a local car vallet place. They also repair bumps, scratches and interiors. It cost me £35.00 plus VAT I think. You cant tell it ever happened.

I called every tyre place in my area this morning and not one could get a Conti Sport until tomorrow. In the end I had it repaired. I didnt realise Kwik Fit did it for free!! I always thought they did that on my company car to avoid paperwork!! Dam, I just paid £14. At least its all done...

Thanks. I was thinking about getting it plugged. I had one tyre which was pretty much a patchwork quilt on my Focus, as the lease company always preferred the cheapest option!! Im not sure Id be 100% comfortable having one of these plugged though. I was thinking of having the spare moved...

I always wash it with a good shampoo once a week and wax it a couple of times a year. I hate having a dirty car.

I always consider doing my car like that, but then it just gets dirty again the next day and I get p**sed off. Like Sunday, I washed it before the meet, then it poured down with rain for an hour. Looks nice though.

Thats f*****g terrible. Wish I could help, but Im guessing whatever you use, even the release agent, its going to leave a very nasty mark on the paintwork.
