    DIY suspension fitting

Not sure on the bearings fella, I'm sure Fred may know!. The rear dampers are rebadged Renault one's (I think), available direct from your local friendly renault stealer. There's a few people on cliotrophy running with the sachs fronts, and koni adjustable rears, might be worth seeing if any of...

    DIY suspension fitting

The 172 and non-cup 182 have a different hub to the Trophy/cup pack'd 182. Different bolt spacing. Sounds as though the KW's are for a 172, hence swapping the hubs over.

    172 Cup servicing advice...

Cup and 172 engine's are the same, nothing you've listed would be different.

    Hankook RS2's for 182

Not a track tyre though, they'll still fall apart with abuse.

    Hankook RS2's for 182

I've been told that 195's are best. Even on the R26r they use 225's instead of the road tyres 235

    Hankook RS2's for 182

There's a thread already going where some people strongly recommend them. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=399980&highlight=hankook

    172 cup or 182 cup?

Rather a 172 at that price TBH. TBF though, I know f**k all about clio's.

    172 cup or 182 cup?

    172 cup or 182 cup?

Gonna struggle to get a decent 182 at 4k.

    172 cup or 182 cup?

I'd get the 182. Newer car, with abs, easier to insure as well.

    ..Shall I?

Amazing. I know someone selling a 172 with misano's, round the corner from you specster

197 cup, What are people paying?

Renault Birmingham are sadly useless. Thanks god they were useless at sales as well, put me right off using them!

197 cup, What are people paying?

If I ever buy Renault again, I'll speak to Bev. Everyone else there is bloody useless, never had a good experience at Renault Birmingham. Sales/service/parts have all been useless in my experience!

197 cup, What are people paying?

Pm Steve, just bought one in pretty much that spec.

    Good Deal? (182)

Normal things. Exhaust, engine mounts, leaky rear shocks, check climate works ok, and check the cruise control works
  22. ForceIndia

    ..Shall I?

172, you'll get 35mpg all day long. I like the mk4 R32's, but with the high miles it's not a wise choice IMO.

    Future of the WRC?

It'll never take off again. It's possibly the worst motorsport there is for a TV audience, and thats where the cash is. No one would watch F1 if you had the cars lapping seperately. Until they find a TV friendly format (which I don't think is possible in the current format), it's on a downward...

    197 Buying Advice

Can you still order new 197's? Would be a mistake IMO, the residuals will take a hit early on due to the release of the 200. I'd go for a nearly new one, or a late R27.
