    the difference is you get a remote with it, street level european mapping, whereas the 500 is only major roads. also the 700 is a hard drive unit on loaded on a sd card like the 300 and 500.

    the gizmondo is slow compared to a dedicated unit like tomtom go 300, because it is mainly for games email etc. try the garmin streetpilot c310 or a pda based unit www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk

    dell pda sat nav..... (help!)

    Patty could use a powered mount that poweres the pda as he drives so he wont use the battery and wired systems limit you to one car as you have to unwire everything if you use diffrerent cars
