yeah dude sounds like you've blown some fuses, i had the same problem too, when i changed my lights to the mk2 ph2 lights. best thing to do is have a look at all of the fuses and see which are blown, the little metal strip in the middle will be broken. then its just a case of replacing them...
mini pc is another name for a pocket pc or pda, basically it has windows software on it and you can put tomtom software on it via sd card. but will need a car kit, bluetooth reciever, if the pda doesnt had a built in reciever. best option is the tomtom, or garmin c310.
you'd be best off looking at a sat nav unit really will cost you alot more to do it your way. either the garmin c310 or tom tom go 500. alternatively you could try doing through a pda unit, mio 168 is a good unit and you can use tomtom's software.

i work for a internet company selling sat nav's, tomtom are the most popular but have a crap aftersales service, navman are good but i prefer the tomtom go 300 which i have ill be trying the navman in the next few days ill see what its like.
