The ATR Bus......i'm still here lol!!

Love them. My dad looked at them when new, was blown away by the engine. Shame they are racking up serious miles now, doubt I'll ever own one now.

    Coilovers or new Exhaust???!!!!

Depends. Decent coilovers, do it (H&R, KW, AST). If not don't bother. If your exhaust isn't falling off, leave it.

S.Wales Brecon Run - Jan '09 (Many pics)

Good pics. The mount on the trophy looks very similar to my gopro mount, do you find it sturdy enough when driving?>

    oil consumption 172 / 182

Not sure how you get through so much oil.

How much can i get a 182 cup for?

Poverty stricken? Roffles. And waffles. Cruise control, speed limiter, air con, steering mounted stereo controls. Not even going to mention that the FF xenons can cost more to replace than the suspension refurb on a Trophy (which every fool uses at justification to not buy a Trophy).

    Hmmmm confused

The pretensioner's bolted to the seat subframe.

Getting Cambelt and Auxiliary belt done (what is Aux Pulley?)

Make sure the place fitting them has the correct Renault tool for the cambelt.

Getting Cambelt and Auxiliary belt done (what is Aux Pulley?)

The kit will include the pulleys and tensioners that the belts runs over. My tensioner recently started squealing, had it replaced as if the pulleys or tensioners go, the belt goes, can then take the cambelt. Not worth the small saving.

How much can i get a 182 cup for?

You forgot the cup badges. 7.8bhp in the mid-range IIRC.

How much can i get a 182 cup for?

Early morning roffle. Totally agree TBF. I prefer non-xenons, it's still got air-con, and externally looks identical. One thing I've said before, is regardig the steering wheel. I prefer it to the FF wheel. It doesn't have the (made of cheese) thumb grips, but it's a thinner rim, and slightly...

I know personally of a car local to me that had a lot of work done by them. Shoddy isn't a strong enough word.

    Removing Steering Wheel

Won't work in that case, the spline makes sure it can only fit on one way.

Cheap as chips Mk2 vee !

    Crazy cheap.
  22. ForceIndia

    whats worth more?

I disagree. Cups with CC are pointless. The biggest weight loss comes from the removal of CC, so why stick it back in?

    Removing Steering Wheel

Haynes manual rec's 15-20 mins for the charge to drain so the bag won't go off. I've heard of them going of even when disconnected though.

Be much easier to sell with standard wheels IMO. Might be easy for the seller to do it, but 99% of people wouldn't want the hassle. I'm selling some standard one's, but they would def need a refurb before putting on the car.

    Removing Steering Wheel

Disconnect the battery, leave for 30 mins (being cautious) Un clip airbag cover (2 clips, one on either side on back of wheel) Unclip airbag connector and horn connectors, remove airbag. Undo big torx job in the middle. Thats from memory.

loads of 172 & 182 for sale at the mo why

Most need or are past cambelt time.
  28. ForceIndia

    whats worth more?

Too many variables. The cup is better looking, and rarer, but also harder to insure, and less spec. Would depend on condition more than anything.
