mint :)
lol at the PC brigade, as if anything would come of this vid..... you can't guage how quick he is going etc, its not like a bike doing 140+ with the reg plate on show.
Shitter, always pays to leave a good gap to the car infront, then if you do get rear ended, you wont plough into the car infront. Because of this, you will now have a claim for the v6 driver :(
that looks right, thats how i did mine :S
Yours has the same connectors as mine.
Maybe if you have a digital muliti meter, set it to ohms and see what each connector off the airbag reads......... then get resistors to suit. Maybe the 182 has diffrent values to a 172, but cant see it?
You will need to locate the grub screw thats in the black collar (allen key head), and make sure its undone. Then adjust to height require, then lock up the grub screw. Job done. :)
I've had T1R's and R's and i like them. Loads on here dont, but my car gets pushed pretty hard and i've never had any issues in nearly three years of driving :)
Walk in there and ask for two 4 ohm resistors. They will then say thats 25p please ;). Anything between 1.8 and 6 will be fine, so 4 is in the middle.
Found some pics from when i did mine.. You will have something like this yes?
^you need to either make another, or just make two form...
gay ;)
I love mine, will deffo get another Cup or slower 182 ;). Best mods i've done are H&R's and recaros by a mile. Mods i didnt like, decatted pro speed = LOUD Looked mint mind and was fine untill it was decatted. Also GAZ coilovers. Now they were shite. Ruined the car imo.
Thats the air bag then, but if was anything like the momo kit, you need two. Iirc, you will need x2 4 ohm reistors from maplins etc, and another inline fuse. There are two connections for the airbag.
Got any pics? might jog my memory lol. Fitted a momo kit in the summer. iirc, the square speaker type connector is the horn, does the fused wire have any resistors inline or under any sheathing?
