you'd be suprised, imo its only peeps who use the internet who know about these deals, for example my dad wouldn't lol. Same with the 225 megane, dealers have them up for near 20k...

I drove my cup a after jumping out of the ctr, and it 'felt' better at 5k. Maybe i need another drive, as a CTR might be the CUPS replacement come summer. Speed wise i know they are same, but with CTR's being thirsty for oil, and being smoked out...
i've been thinking about it forever...... one day i'm for them, then the next against! When i'm in the against mood i think the money will be better spent on a CTR or something lol

Exactly the same opinion, all these write ups you read about the v-tec kick. Drove my mates ctr (spoon cat back exhaust and some filter) and i was left underwhelmed. All noise. The 5k in my cup felt alots more agressive. I do like the ctr, but the change over is all hype imo.

i'm running a de cat with standard system, no extra noise imo but it feels better. Every little helps ;). Oh and my prospeed and de cat was LOUD, had to get rid!!!
the pads are a major tight fit when new, we had to grind some off the ends to make them fit........ maybe they are binding? did you remove enough form the back plate? Also, the caliper sliders can stick too....
Not profit obviously, but some people just leave them on the cars, and sell them for say a standard cup price as mods dont increase value.... where's if you split them you will make some money back.
If its split you can, all my mods are bolt on, keeping standard bits, then when i'm done, i turn the car back to standard. I made nearly 1k off bits from my old punto turbo, intercoolers, chips exhausts etc

as said above it needs a 172 cup stylee roof spoiler, as the cup racer option on these is abit ott imo

Cambelts arent worth scrimping on, aux belt gets changed on mine @ 35k, and got the cambelt done at 50... no messing then, not worth it. I always get mine done early for this reason, 5 yrs is a long time.........
