yep, as you said its bottom arms, 6 speed gearboxes and turbos. They really are very poor apparently, bordering on dangerous. The previous ones were better made in his opinion
I thought mine was fine!!!! a little noisy decatted, (imo) but it was sweet as, do miss it :(
As said above for £280 it was superior to the magnex i previously had. It fitted better, and the baffles never went in it either, unlike the magnex.
i'd have a btb mind, if thay made one for the cup :(
least its not a 1.3 8v, they are from the dark ages and rattle like a good un (mum has the newer shape than yours but the 1.3 version)

that zetec lump aint as good as the punto 1.2 16v engine though (85bhp, loved to be revved!!!). I had the punto, mate had the fiesta...
fooked!! last year had around 40k on the clock. Took the car to get it tracked up, they said they couldn't do it as there was 'play' in the rack.... showed me and there was.
lucky for me it was done under warranty (only i month left on it lol)

eibach make two springs, the sportline and the proline. One doesnt lower hardly any but firm up the ride nicely, and the other drop the car around 20-30mm. Which versions did you fit? (cant remember which lower more though :()
most people who want a nice drop go for the apex (40mm)
worst... anything bigger than 16's, lexarse lights, angel eyes, jap bodykits (or any for that matter)
best... coilovers, de cat, modded inlets, grp n ecu
very true, i was selling my cup earlier this summer, had speedline 2020's prospeed zorst buckets etc, turned it all back to standard to sell them off(bar the H&R's) then fell back in love with it again. Sometimes i think you can go too far without realising (sp) what you loved about the car to...
as stated above the 172 cups have the better bhp/per tonne out of all the renault sports, this is what gives them the edge. As also said above though, we are talking tenths of a second
