 He probably lives next door ;) :clown:
The standard size is 13cm / 5.25"
Alpine will sound much better than the 65p clio speakers and the depth should be fine :)
You going for components?
It has been defraged recently
The antivirus needs updating, getting that sorted his week along with some more RAM
Possibly need to format/fresh install soon
I have desktop PC running Windows XP - it seems very slow :dead: (for the spec)
Intel P4 3.1Ghz
1GB DDR ram
Creative geForce5 graphics card 512mb ram
60gb IDE hard disk (OS & program files)
200gb SATA hard disk
@ It takes about 3-5mins to start-up when turned on
@ After I log onto windows...
Ok... put the handbags and the umbrella's down! :clown:
Not a bad install, few hints;
Make sure those sub-boxes are well-bolted down! An emergency stop may save the dog for 2 seconds while your sub flies past your head and squashes it!
Un-hook your boot-light as it's taking the "attention"...
You hit the head on the nail there lol
The standard speakers are "ok" but we like to upgrade them to raise the standards of our installs :)
The guy who sells me my ICE is a rep for Focal, always at conferences in speaker factories.
He has told me the standard Clio speakers cost Renault £0.65...
Yeah go for the components up front:)
A little extra to pay/install but still easy on both pocket/brain ;)
Why 17cm in the rear? (I think you discovered this by accident)
If you are keeping the 17cm coaxils in the rear go for 17cm comps up-front and get them amped
Hmm - is that a dig at a sh1t job?
If so, get your arse to the back of the line! :rasp: I'm going first!
I'm a shift manager in mc d's - at least its an excuse for the clio to be in the carpark :clown:
I hate the job but like the atmosphere & the friends I've made in it
Does anyone know how to reply to a txt from Lithuania?
A workmate of 2 years just went back home to Lithuania this week, she sent some of us a txt but nobody can get a reply out :(
I'm on Vodafone contract and we kno the country code
My phone send the message but 20mins later I keep getting...
I was going to do that with mine, just got a modified front bumper, skirts and a 172 rear bumper :)
You need a LOT of bits to change from the std bumper to the Sport one, but some have managed to do it without a few things, even the 172 wings
I'd get a few things, only if I needed them without waiting for a mail order.
But never go to Halfrauds unless you know what you need!
Some idiot in a black/orange outfit will try talking you into buying something you don't need or want.
I've witnessed this many many times and just had to...
Nomatter what music you listen to, (even if you were going down the route of putting in surround sound for a DVD setup) all you need is a set of good coaxils in the rear.
Wee buns :)
I cannot understand how some people would expect better sound to come from the back of the car.
You sit at the front, everyone faces the front, so ask yourself "What am I thinking?" ;)
Keep the 13cm rear speakers
Put the rest on Ebay
FORGET 6x9s or putting components in the rear shelf
Pick up...
I'd second that - there's a few more colours other than red/blue on it too, but overall maybe it's an unfinished article from scrapheap challenge? :rasp:
