Def worth it, but you won't get that sort of drop on a 172. I've had sports and pro's, the pro's are better for handling. Make a fair difference to handling, more stable at speed, more composed under braking, and you can feel the car better when cornering hard.
No, just using it as an example. They are a total rip-off. Should of been fitted when you bought it. The Ktec carbon fibre one's are cheaper than the plastic renaultones.
Woulld be close. Same engine as cooper s but only 5speed box. Very heavy cars, and pretty crap TBH. My step-sister works for peugeot, even the guys there think they're gash.
Audi's an S4, 4.2 V8 (I think). Vrs is very rapid, they loosen up massively. When my bro 1st got his I could pull away easily, now it's neck and neck once rolling. Shame they handle like shite.
Reply to your texts gayer! Your probably one fo the few people with decent experience of both. Which would you say would be the better handling car, Trophy or 172 on H&R's?
F1's are my choice. Fred likes the Parada's IIRC, but not meant to be much good in the wet (but very grippy in the dry). If F1's are in the picture, def a step up from the michelins.
Has anyone driven a Trophy and a H&R'd 172? How'd they compare? Currently trying to decide wether to get rid of the 172 for a Trophy, or just go H&R route (I'd miss monaco:o). Any experience/opinions. As the 172 stands now, have trendlines, uprated pads/discs.
