Garmin. Just got one of these. Speed cams included (can be updated reg from pocketgpsworld.com). Full european maps, and the cradle and power supply are seperate (which i prefer because I can get the power wired into the car, and not...
Looking at a 172 mk2 at the weekend. It's 03 plate, monaco blue, 40k miles, FRSH but no cambelt service yet (due april). What sort of price do you guys think it's worth??
Yep, rd is part of the EVO triangle, awesome. Spent a day up there last year, with RAF jets flying over head. Had 'em in the twisties;) .
Aston is awesome, I get to have a play in it now and then. We removed the fuse for the active exhaust valve, sounds like Nascar all the time.
I had reclining buckets in my 182, can't recommend them enough. Much better driving position (lower than trophy recaro's), more comfy than standard seats, and so much more supportive on a track day.
You'll only need ABS once to appreciate it's value. I'm looking for another 172 at the mo, but I drive my gfriend and family around a lot, so lack of ABS is a no-no for me.
dehumidifier overnight? (as long as he's got a garage). If not, you can get these plastic boxes from lakeland, they contain lots of crystals that soak up moisture, just leave a couple in the car
Had to 1*2's, never had any probs except wear and tear. Currently got a 306 rallye, 103000 miles, runs brilliantly. Starts first time, goes like stink, and sounds great.
Watched a GT race at silverstone a few years ago, thought the 360's were loud. Then the aero 8 comes around and you could see people flinching from the noise!
