I had Cobra Daytona's in my 182, fantastic. Comfy, supportive, lower driving position (lower than the Trophy Recaro's as the Cobra's have a custom subframe). You can see them in the for sale thread, Rich Cup is selling my old car. Having tried the Trophy Recaro's and the Cobra's, I'd take the...
I would say DC5 better to drive, V6 better to own. But parts (from what Fred has mentioned) can be very expensive with the vee, as are the major services. Most people I know that have driven the Teg's tend to prefer the dc2.
had an import myself, pretty much covered by the above post, just really need an alarm. Had no probs getting it serviced and warranty issues sorted, but did get offered a lower resale value, so it should be priced accordingly. Don't listen to the dealer that says it makes no difference, try and...
Agreed, they do handle better, but 3k for slightly better handling, cup spoiler and exhaust?? Loved my 182, but 3k for a car thats no quicker, nicer alloys and spoiler? Coilovered 172 would handle better than a cupped 182.
I did this, swapped an iceburg 172 for a 182. Never stopped regretting the decision. Both great cars, but 95% of the time they feel identical. Wish I'd spent the extra on a few choice mods. For 2-3k you could get coilovers (much more choice for the 172), decent seats, inlet matching, exhaust and...
the 182 you were looking at was mine till april this year, was maintained regardless of cost etc. Never had any probs with engine, electrics etc (no problems at all actually). Driven a lot of clio's, def a good one, one of the strongest engines I've driven. Friend of mine bought one with lower...
Ipod is fucked, got the unhappy ipod logo. It's 4th gen, not photo. Stupidly, I haven't got my music saved on the pc, will I be able to put my ipod hard drive into another, and pull the music off using copy pod?
I'm sure a V6 would cost less to run over 3yrs. If (only speculation) the magazine's are right, and a turbo 197 may be released, I could see NA prices suddenly taking a big hit.
