Should be able to sort it tomorrow mate?? Im popping in to put the car on a ramp anyway so il get the clip while im there.
Clip can do so much more than a code reader, parameters and live data can be usefull.
Seriously??
Its your car mate so upto you, but your best bet is to put that spoiler on ebay and leave that s**t for the corsa boys, FACT.
If you fit that youve got bigger Kahuna's than me, ROFL.
Do not grease it!! Bugs and s**t sticks to the grease, jams the safety latch up and that could cause problems.
I still believe its purely poor maintanance that causes the bonnet to flip up. In my 4 years at renault I never ever saw one come in with a flipped bonnet.
LOL. One minute your getting a torque wrench, then your not. :rasp:
Yes ive fitted plugs in the past without torque'ing em up, and yes if i didnt have a torqued wrench id just nip with a 3/8 ratchet, done. But I have got one, so I torque em up.
You would be suprised how many dont torque anything! Wheels, hubs etc I even worked with a guy who airgun'd heads down ROFL..
If it were me id get a torque wrench and do it properly.
Copper slip will be fine, all this wrong torque b****cks.. Yea a rusty thread full of grit will change the torque, a dab of grease wont.
I normally grease them up and never ever had a problem.
Indeed! No doubt in the flesh it'l look awesome. Just the first picture the arches and skirts look a bit of an after thought, not keen on the mirrors either.
Meh id still have one tho!
Send it to a proper gearbox specialist Gray, as mentioned above. Any handy man could have a go but you need the right tools i.e a decent press, pullers etc.
Our place uses car/c.a.r in Mansfield, they normally turn stuff around in a couple of days and are spot on.
This.
People say you get so many airbag deploys before a new computer is needed, but ive seen them needed for just a side airbag and pretensioner so budget for that (£200+)
Also if you claim it went off for no reason be warned Renault will keep the car for a few days, investigators will come...
^ Makes sense I suppose!

So cheap id be a bit wary of buying them.

The top set are 3 times the price but probably better quality?
Cheers peeps, was thinking 6000k. Il search ebay and send MT a PM.
Is there any difference between the cheap bulbs and the more expensive ones? I replaced one about 3 years ago and cost about £50 for one, now you can get a pair for half that.
After an upgrade for my xenons, running standard bulbs at the mo think these are 4300??
After a pair peferably a little bit brighter too. Where to buy from and what bulbs?
Opinions and recomendations appreciated.
Thankyouplease.
Exactly. Get a stubborn wheel nut or a hub nut and your back to the breaker bar.
Nothing touches Snap-on, but theyre £400+.
Mac do a good one too, bit cheaper iirc. Not tried any others so cant comment.
