Yes but as said, diesels draw much more on startup with them having higher compression. The closest thing to yours is probably a 197 mate. Get someone with dialogys to look up the fuse for a 197, dialogys should give you the ampage rating.

Im pretty sure 197's will have a replaceable fuse, probably best to get someone off here to see what rating their's is. You wont go far wrong.

the top gearbox mount?? Wind the nut back on a few threads, put a socket over the nut with a large extension and whack with a big hammer. Make sure theres a small gap between jack and gearbox so it can move.

Its something im looking into ATM, a fully worked head, 3 angle'd seats, skim, new valves and stem seals is about £800 - £1000 from the quotes ive had. On a limited budget theres probably better ways to spend that money, or as previously said put it towards TB's or a charger.

Ive seen this before ( not on a clio ) and it was the bottom arm bushes worn, The car pulled one way when accelerating and the other way under braking. Something to check.
